Now teaching all classes with Windows 11!
The Troy Senior Computer Learning Center, or Troy CLiC for short, opened in 2003 to provide senior residents in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne counties access to and education about computer technology and the Internet.
Since opening, the Learning Center has offered over 1200 computer classes and taught over 4100 seniors from Southeast Michigan on a variety of subjects including Computers for Beginners 1 and 2, Windows OS, E-Mail, Computer Security, Photoshop Elements, Scanning, Word Processing, Excel, PowerPoint and much more.
Our Learning Center is staffed by an enthusiastic group of senior volunteers who provide the lessons, instructions and coaching for all of our classes and workshops. Our state-of-the-art classroom/lab facility is equipped with eight desktop workstations, five scanners and two printers. It has high speed internet and e-mail access and is available to our students during non-class periods.
